David Nieper Unveils Multi-Tasking Wardrobe For Spring/Summer 2016

Make this season’s holiday shopping a breeze! Made in Britain fashion house David Nieper has designed a multi-tasking wardrobe for Spring/Summer 2016.

The new collection has been thought through carefully, to ensure that all the individual pieces in the capsule collections work seamlessly together. Designs for the travel collection are made from uncrushable fabric, so perfect for packing and looking great with minimal fuss.

Designing and manufacturing in the UK for 55 years, David Nieper designs collections specifically to flatter the real 50+ women, who are often neglected by designers and not catered for in shops.

The new season’s range ‘multi tasks’ across many levels; the designs themselves are cut to flatter the figure and are made with fabrics that keep you cool and comfortable in the warmer months.

The garments are also designed to co-ordinate, so it is always possible to combine pieces according the occasion. There are also several adaptable core pieces that can be worn day and night, and are as perfect poolside as they are at dinner.

David Nieper, Head of Design, Elizabeth Edwards commented:

“Versatility and practicality are as important as great design in this season’s collection. Our customers are discerning, multi-tasking women with many facets to their lives and it is fitting that our designs should fit their lifestyle.

We are also mindful that summer wardrobes usually travel, so we work a lot with uncrushable and crease free fabrics. Our collections are very versatile, often with one or two focal pieces that are central to a number of different ensembles.”

Reflecting the hues of summer, the Into the Blue range features a button-through, georgette shirtdress made from an uncrushable, lightweight fabric. This can be worn in a number of guises; either belted on its own, twinned with a French navy blue vest top and palazzo trousers, or as a cover-up from the sun over a co-ordinating luxury swimsuit.

Similarly, this season’s Monochrome range revolves around a contemporary, spotted print tankini as a core piece, which can be worn on the beach, poolside or dressed up with an elegant flared skirt, lightweight blazer or wide trousers for a classic evening look.

Also, new for this year the design team has created a luxury swim dress in vibrant tones and in a bold, figure enhancing print, evocative of the iconic, glamour of the 1920s beach holiday. The dress is both practical and perfect for fresh and contemporary summer look.
