Fund raising was on the menu recently at David Nieper’s staff restaurant, when the Alfreton-based fashion house donated £700 to the Derbyshire branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The canteen staff raised £549 through a range of fund raising activities, including a coffee morning and selling jams and chutneys. Management from the up-market ladies fashion company made the amount up to £700, which was presented to Rebecca Staden, Macmillan Fund Raising Manager.
Rebecca said:
“We are a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer, by providing practical, medical and financial support. This is a fantastic amount of money to raise and every pound will made a huge difference to people affected by cancer.”
